Folk culture, the essence of local people’s wisdom, is the main classification of world intangible cultural heritage,which is also the significant part of civilization. As time goes by, folk dance has improved itself,and wrote its own history with its unique language. But on the other hand, the folk culture are slowly fading away because of the development of economy,together with the desalting of regional boundary.Therefore, an increasing number of people are standing out to appeal for the protection of folk culture.“Shanbei Yangko” is a kind of folk culture which came from loess plateau. It mixed the dance,music,singing,and traditional Chinese opera all together. It is the essence of Shanbei people’s wisdom. Shanbei Yangko,together with Dongbei,Shandong,and Hebei Yangko is the representative of Chinese northern folk dance. Shanbei Yangko had been chosen into the first patch of “National Intangible Cultural Heritage” in 2006, all due to its unique regional characteristics,and deep inheritance significance.From then on,more attention had been paid on the protection of Shanbei Yangko.Colleges and universities are not only the cradle for talents,but also the important battle field for culture inheritance and transmission. In the textbook of Chinese folk dance, dances from five different ethnic(Han,Tibetan,Mongol,Wei,and Korean nationality) have been concluded. The mature Dongbei and Shandong Yangko textbook have already existed.In recent years, the culture value and inheritance significance of Shanbei Yangko have been stressed, while the physical training value of the students from dance major has been explored. Hence, it will be good for the protection of Shanbei Yangko. If we put it into the college professional dance teaching system as soon as possible. Things will be greater if we product a systematic, normative and applicative textbook.From the aspect of higher dance education,,the article tries to discuss the theoretical significance and feasible method of bringing Shanbei Yangko into the professional dance teaching system by deep research on the recent teaching condition of Shanbei Yangko. The literature research, investigation, interviewing and comparison method have been used. There are five aspects in this thesis: First part will be the cognition of Shanbei Yangko.Second,we will review the teaching history of Dongbei and Shandong Yangko as references. Third,we will explore the theoretical significance and practice strategies of bringing Shanbei Yangko into the system.we surveyed the colleges where the Shanbei Yangko teaching exists, and found out some common points.Thus we will give out some practical countermeasures. Fourth, we will discuss the value and meaning of Shanbei Yangko teaching for the whole artistic education. Hope the thesis could do some work for the professional teaching of Shanbei Yangko,and assistant it being added into the Chinese folk dance teaching system as early as possible.
