A Study On The Meaning System Of "Shuowen Wenwen"

This paper researches on the Shuo Wen Tong Wen written by HuangKan, investigates the multiplying and developments of the words from the exegetical aspect. From the angle of Yi Tong and Yitong, We discuss the defined criterion of HuangKan, and combined with the actual examples of Shuo Wen Tong Wen to investigate the significance of the relationship, to understand the real meaning of Yi Tong and Yitong. Finally, the meaning and relationship are summarized and analyzed, forming their own meaning system. Thus, we can fully understand the profound meaning of Tong which HuangKan proposed.This paper consists of six sections.The first section is the introduction. Firstly, we introduced Shuo Wen Tong Wen briefly and proposed the origin and meaning of the topic. Then, the HuangKan’s literature of Shuo Wen was summarized. Finally, we introduced the method and materials of this paper.The second section is an introduction of the overview and relative terms of Shuo Wen Tong Wen. First, the data of the book was collected. Some of the parts is revised, deleted and combined according to the real situation. Then we had a discrimination and distinction between Tong Wen and Tong Zi. Finally, we explained the terms of the paper again.The third section is the meaning relation of Yi Tong. Investigation the Yi Tong examples from three expect:interpreting, the classification of Bian yi of Huangkan, and Huangkan’s examples in his works. Finally, the meaning relation of Yi Tong was summarized.The fourth section is the meaning relation of Yitong. Investigation the Yitong examples from two expect:the theory of HuangKan and the examples in his works, and the classification of Zi Ru of Huangkan, and some examples in his works. Finally, the meaning relation of Yitong was summarized.The fifth section is the meaning system of Yi Tong and Yitong. Yi Tong is a broad concept domain. There are many subtle differences that exist in this field. But no matter how to change, it is all in the same field. Yitong reflects the different characteristics of the communication. The communication is the starting point, and the different characteristics determine the development of path.The sixth section is the conclusion. We summarized the meaning system of Yi Tong and Yitong. Finally, we pointed out the meaning relationship of Tong in Shuo Wen Tong Wen.
