Dogme 95 movie movement began in 1995 in Denmark.When the Commercial movie with Special effects luxuriant occupied the dominant position of Danish domestic movie market like most other countries in the world.Moviegoers immersed in Hollywood movie’s exciting plot and visual spectacle and they did not concern about domestic film creation and the film about ordinary people anymore.The Danish filmmaker also were lost in the competition. Lars von Trier and so on four graduated from Denmark’s national film academy director determined to change this situation and they signed two programmatic document of the Dogme movement “Dogme Manifesto” and “Vow of Chastity” in Copenhagen 1995.In addition to the opposition of the movie creation technical tendency which led by Hollywood, they emphasized the film should be back to focus on real life problems, maintain objectivity and actors’ performance in both the real creation method.The movement had made the world attention in the beginning.Dogme films won prize in the Berlin, Cannes and other international film festival then A growing number of non-Danish director also produced their own Dogme film certificated by Dogme organization.However, with the development of Dogme 95 movement, movement gradually exposed its own defects.“Vow of Chastity” stringent regulations limit the imagination of the filmmakers and the way to work which let many producers have to destroy the rule of Dogme’s, made the movement lost its seriousness. The vast majority of Dogme filmmaker just made only one Dogme work for many reasons, led to Dogme movement lost the continuity of its creation and theory innovation. After entering the 21 st century, the film that obtained Dogme’s certification become less and less. Most of directors who had made Dogme film turn into commercial films, and they added Dogme movie style In their business creation.
