The middle-late Childhood plays an important role in the development of one’s own life, individual during this period not only faces the entrance pressure(primary school entrance into junior high school), but also makes full preparation for the upcoming adolescence. In addition,individual have to cope with pressure source from surrounding environment, such as homework, relationship between teachers and students, etc.,.All of these experiences make individuals get their unique understanding of the world and experience, which further influences the development of individual sence of coherence. Good peer relationship is a kind of important source of security, which can serve as a kind of internal and external resources in the face of the pressure situation to help individuals cope with the dilemma. This positive experience will further promotes the development of individual sence of coherence. At the same time, the parenting style as an important part of family environment system, without doubt will make a big influence on children’s cognition, emotion and the shaping of personality. The positive parenting style as a kind of environmental condition for children’s living and growth up will provides security and sense of belonging when individuals coping with stress situations, which at the same time will become the effective resources to cope with stress,then accelerate the development of sence of coherence and help to keep individual mental health.The level of the sence of coherence in middle-late childhood has important effect on mental health and social adaptation. Past researches on the sence of coherence mainly inspected the relationship between many factors, such as coping style, well-being etc., and the sence of coherence. However our research focus on the development trajectory of the sence of coherence and the impact made by peer relationships parenting style. The results show :(1)The overall level of the sence of coherence during middle-late childhood increased gradually,and had a significant gender difference, the girl’s initial level of the sence of coherence was higher than the boy’s, but the development speed was lower than boy’s.(2)The development of the sence of coherence during middle-late childhood had Significantly positive correlation with peer relationship and accepting-warm parenting style, however, had significantly negative correlation with rejecting-punitive parenting style.(3) The development of the sence of coherence during middle-late childhood showed three heterogeneity development trajectory: high – rising group, medium-rising group and low- stable group.(4) The peer relationship and parenting style in a certain extent can predict the identity information of every heterogeneous trajectory.
