The figuring art on stones and bricks coming from the ancient dynasties of the Xia, Shang, Zhou and the former Qin in the history of China was an outstanding represent of the arts of the Han with the charm of the historical eternal and grandiose sense by seizing of the expression of the object with simple but lively lines and sculpts instead of the refinement and realism.In adoring of the figuring on stones and bricks, the author analyzed the society culture of the Han and the meaning, the sculpt laws and the taste of the figuring arts, in order to improve the expressive force, sculpt and the taste in the works.Firstly, this paper introduced the development of the Han dynasty and the origin of the figuring art on stones and bricks with its meaning in culture in the background of the flourish of the society and the changing of the idea and the taste of the people, and also the development of the figuring art on stones and bricks that expressed the aspire of the people was stimulated by the ceremonious funeral that is canonized by the dynast in order to promote the filial piety.Secondly, the styles and the characters of the figuring art were introduced with its skills, structure and sculpts in its producing.In the engraving, the object was expressed with the feeling of volume through different skills such as the inner and the outer embossment, eliminating and floating. In the composition and the structure, the objects were usually expressed on a plane with simple but strong lines, and also the arbitrariness perspective was used to avoid the spacial restrict, and then, all the different creative works were unified into a lively, clumsy, spirited and interesting production.In the end, the author’s two works named "The banquet in long street" and ’The rolling hobbyhorse" were introduced with the experience in creating and the understand about the figuring on stones and bricks of Han. In "The banquet in long street", the laying of the plane and the arbitrariness perspective were used to divided the space into 3 parts vertically to show the length of the tables that were put connected to each other in the long street, and organize the many people and their relationship in the space, and then come into the feeling of the fluent and rhythm among the tables and people in the works. In "The rolling hobbyhorse", it was created to express the illogicality in the changing society such as the hobbyhorse was unable to run away though it was running all the time. Firstly in the structure,4 horses were arranged in a circle and running to each other to express a strong tension from them, and then the horses were sculpted in strong and vigorous that came from the horse in Han to show a power force driving the world running endlessly. So, the work purpose and the sculpt were unified in the end.
