Nowadays, under the situation of “Chinese popular” around the world, Mongolia has raised a hot wave of learning Chinese. The increasing demands and expansion of Chinese teaching are promoting the development of Mongolian Education Undertakings. The research aims to get fully information about Chinese language teaching of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology(MUST), including Chinese teaching background, resources and activities. By now,the study and research about the MUST is still empty. In this paper, the author takes the advantage of being a Chinese teacher here, using the methods of lectures, observation, interviews,questionnaire investigation, to get the first-hand materials so that I can make a detailed and in-depth investigation and study about MUST. In this paper, the author will make a detailed conclusion about the special teaching mode of the MUST and the revelation that teaching mode giving us, trying to objectively and comprehensively reflect the present teaching situation and problems existing in the teaching. The author will put forward the corresponding countermeasure and the proposal to promote the sustainable development of Chinese language teaching in the MUST. Certainly, under the new situation, it is necessary to give a reference to Chinese international promotion.The paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter introduces the origin of writing, as well as the significance of the paper.The second chapter is about Chinese language teaching background of MUST, mainly including nature, scale, Chinese teaching development and cooperation project with Chinese universities. As the primary public school of Mongolia is given priority to the engineering profession, its size, unique teaching mode, attaching great importance to Chinese teaching and actively carrying out international cooperation projects have made remarkable achievements. It is helpful to get a preliminary understanding with MUST.The third chapter aims to introduce the teaching resources of the school, including curriculum, teachers, students and teaching materials, to get fully information about Chinese language teaching of the MUST. Through the investigation and analysis, I found that the school curriculum design are very chaos and content is deficient, lacking of rationality and scientific principle. Teachers are short and their quality need to be improved. And students have lots of learning demands, etc.The forth part is about all kinds of Chinese learning and cultural activities held by Confucius Institute and MUST. They pay more attention to popularize the Chinese by these colorful activities in order to arouse students’ interests in learning Chinese and promoting theirall-round development.The fifth part aims to make a comprehensive analysis of Chinese teaching condition of MUST by the investigation results related to various data. The advantages of MUST are that it attaches great importance to the cooperation with Chinese universities, actively undertakes Asian Teaching Research Conference, holds all kinds of activities related to Chinese and carries out student-focused. At the same time, in this paper I will discuss the disadvantages in curriculum,teachers and Chinese materials to put forward the corresponding strategy to solve the problems.The sixth part is mainly about the solution of Chinese teaching. It is necessary to strength faculty, increase the quantity and improve the quality about Chinese materials, perfect the curriculum and optimize the teaching resources in order to keep the sustainable development of Chinese teaching of the MUST. And the final section is conclusions of the paper and research limitations.
