Recently,China's economy develops very rapidly,as well as the national comprehensive strength improves for the world to see.In hence,other countries pay more and more attention on Chinese language teaching.As China's long-standing friendly strategic partner,since October 1949,more than 70 years after the establishment of diplomatic relations with China,countless Russians have been learning Chinese,and more and more Russians are joining the active study of learning Chinese language,promoting the Chinese language teaching development in Russia.Based on the research object of the Transbaikal State University in Russia,this paper combining with the author's practical experience in teaching at the university,makes a related study on the current situation of Chinese language teaching in the university by taking questionnaire method,interview method and classroom observation method,and finds out that the problems in Chinese language teaching,and puts forward the corresponding suggestions for Chinese language teaching according to the found problems.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction part,which mainly talks about the background and significance of the thesis,the current situation of domestic research,the current situation of Chinese language teaching research and the related research work of this paper.The basic situation of Chinese language teaching in Transbaikal State University is expounded in the first part of this paper.First of all,this paper develops a brief description to the current situation of Chinese language teaching in Russia.Secondly,this paper pays much attention on introducing the basic situation of Chinese language teaching in The Transbaikal State University,including Transbaikal State University's basic Chinese language teaching situation,Chinese language majors setting,Chinese language teachers' condition,Chinese language assessment methods,Chinese language classroom teaching activities and the students' basic Chinese language learning situation.The second chapter expounds the survey on the current situation of Chinese language teaching at Transbaikal State University,including the teachers' interview content,the student questionnaire's design,implementation and survey results.The third chapter expounds the problems of Chinese language teaching at Transbaikal State University from three aspects: the university,the teachers and students,then analyzes the reasons.There are three problems in the university: the lack of Chinese language teaching syllabus,the optimization of Chinese language teaching curriculum setting,and the complexity and variety of textbooks.There are some problems in the aspect of teachers,such as the local teachers' s capacity needs to be improved,the homogeneous Chinese language classroom teaching method and the small number of Chinese language teachers.On the other hand,there are also some problems in students,who have no strong learning motivation,negative learning attitudes,and inappropriate learning strategies.The fourth chapter puts forward the suggestions for Chinese language teaching in three aspects: Transbaikal State University should use special Chinese language syllabus as soon as possible,properly optimize the Chinese language curriculum setting,and solve the problems of Chinese language teaching textbook in all aspects.Teachers should make flexible use of various teaching methods,effectively improve their teaching capacity professionalism;However,the university should also increase the proportion of Chinese native-speaker teachers.For students,they should strengthen their learning motivation,correct their learning attitudes,and make good use of their learning strategies.Finally,the conclusion part of the paper summarizes the research conclusions and shortcomings of this paper.
