| Zhu Xi, the representative of Neo-confucianism, all previous dynasties to his philosophy research is more,while aesthetics study is less. Zhu Xi is Neo-confucianism master, "Li" is an important category of Zhu Xi’Neo-confucianism and aesthetics. Neo-confucianism represented by Zhu Xi deeply influenced the Chinese national spirit, Chinese cultural psychology, the Chinese spiritual and aesthetic life. In recent years, the research of Zhu Xi’s aesthetic thoughts comes to increase, with emphasis on Zhu’s literary aesthetic thoughts,such as Pan Liyong focus on the research of Zhu Xi’s literary and arts esthetics thought proposition and category, Mountain and Water aesthetic, art, personality aesthetics, etc. Some researchers focuse on Zhu Xi’s construct of aesthetic ideology, but it is not enough. The idealist phylosophy is established on the basis of traditional Confucianism thought system. In the books and papers,there are less descriptions of the relationship between aesthetics and Neo-confucianism, lack of the core proposition, especially the proposition of taking "Li" as beauty. This article research the Correlation between Neo-confucianism and aesthetics, discusses the relationship of "Li" and the true, "Li" and the love. "Li" contains the true and control the love.In art, Zhu Xi pursuited the vigorousness of Ch’i and rational interest."Taking ‘Li’ as beauty" is the core proposition of Zhu Xi’s esthetics thought.First of all, Neo-confucianism provide theoretical basis for aesthetics. "Li" has double meaning, both the inheritance of Confucian ethical thought and the level of the universe ontology. Zhu Xi’s "Li" has a "good" factor. Traditional Confucianists takes goodness as beauty, so "Li" is beauty. Zhu Xi pursuits the aesthetic ideal of "cheng,jing, le" and the ideal personality of sages. Zhu Xi pays attention not only to the individual moral personality, but also the society’s common pursuit.Truth and love is the core of taking "Li" as beauty. "Li" is the base of all his thought and takes an important place. In China, Zhu Xi is one of the early thoughters to think and research this problem in the philosophy. His thought inherited and broke through Confucianism. He makes an emphasis on Li, with a thinking of emotion.Li controls love. Writing poems express emotion. Poems include interest and the emotion.From the aspect of aesthetics, the constituent of beauty is greatly affected by Ch’i which is devided into vigorous Ch’i and beautiful Ch’i. Zhu Xi attaches great importance to Ch’i in the poems and in life. Rational interest of poems is the pursuit of Zhu Xi, which means that to creat is to combine "Li" and emotion in order to produce a kind of beauty of poetry. |
