| In face of adversity, the environment and situation can have a better control of children’s resilience. We should enhance the resilience in order to improve the children’s adaptability. The author translates the academic paper Global Perspectives on Resilience in Children and Youth, a paper on children and youth’ resilience, hoping to provide a certain reference for Chinese children’ physical and mental health research. There are lots of abstract nouns and passive voice in this book with informative text characteristics. Understanding the meaning of abstract nouns and conveying information of the passive voice are the keys to translation. Based on all those questions, the author summarizes proper translation skills with cases analysis to provide reference for the translation of children and youth’ resilience texts. |
