| An abstract is an integral and condensed part of an academic paper, which also serves as an important method to index the paper. The abstract plays an increasingly important role in the communication of academic activities. This paper is a practical translation report concerning the abstracts of financial academic papers and it also describes every step of translation. Focusing on the problems in the process of translation and translation strategies as well as writing methods, this paper analyzes some cases, aiming at contributing to the future abstracts written by Chinese financial scholars, ultimately improving academic communication. Furthermore, it is also hoped that this work will benefit relevant translators working in similar fields. |
