This article gives a brief summary of the phonological system of Bala Zhuang Language in Donglan. It mainly describes the phenomenon of voice inflection of it through a detailed description and analysis of 106 groups of words. It attempts to extract a pattern of the voice inflection of the language from consonants, vowels and tones respectively.This paper includes five chapters.The first chapter is introduction, which introduces the background of the present study, including the introduction of the language, the purpose and the significance of study, a literature review of study on voice inflection in Sino-Tibetan, the source of the corpus and the methodology.Chapter two gives a brief introduction of Bala Village and provides an overview of phonological system of Bala Zhuang Language, including the consonants, vowels and tones.Chapter three is the main body of this paper, it gives a detailed description of the phenomenon of voice inflection. This chapter describes 106 groups of voice turns from the consonants, vowels and tones, and analyzes the change of grammatical relations and semantic category that are caused by the voice inflection.Chapter four discusses about the regular pattern of the voice inflection from the perspective of consonants, vowels and tones respectively. It summarizes the inflection rules on the portion and method of pronunciation of consonants, and that on vowels from diminutive use and the distribution of long and short vowel, then on tones by discussing the distributions of tones.Chapter five is the conclusion. It proposes possible topics in further studies on semantic change and voice inflection of Bala Zhuang Language. The last part of this chapter introspects the novelty and shortages of this study.
