In the long-term process of China and Korea’s exchanges, a large number of Chinese classical literature were spread to Korea, and they were widely accepted and absorbed by the Korean people. In Korea’s history, before Lee dynasty, many people advocated studying Chinese culture so that a large number of Chinese literature had been perserved, among them, “Yuk Mi Dang Gi” and “Sam-han-seup-you” are known as the two great ancient Korean novels.Regrettably, the research of “Yuk Mi Dang Gi” is very little in China, this is very inconsistent with its literary value.This thesis takes “Yuk Mi Dang Gi” as the research object, taking the perspective of comparative literature, adhering to close reading, referring to the theory of Chinese classical novels, from the multi-angle and multi-level to interpret possession, in order to analysis the literature meaning cultural connotation of “Yuk Mi Dang Gi”.In the introduction, has sorted the collected data and material, has expounded the thesis research value and significance, summarize the main content of the thesis, points out the innovative content of the thesis. Chapter one is the character image theory, has analyzed the main positive leading character image and the typical minor characters. The second chapter analyzes the characters shaping method of “Yuk Mi Dang Gi”, to explore the characteristics of characters and the function of characters. The third chapter analyzes “Yuk Mi Dang Gi” ’s the mode of predicted narration and the plot way forward, compared with China Classical Novels. The last chapter analyzes the phenomenon that “Yuk Mi Dang Gi” learn Chinese cultural elements, by the methods of data statistics, to dig its national character and explore the literary value and cultural significance. Ultimately concluded, “Yuk Mi Dang Gi” is the excellent Chinese novel in the history of Korean literature. It absorbs nutrition of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism’s culture, drawing on the experience of creation from the Chinese and Korean classical novel. The novel has a strong sense of national self-reliance. Late Lee dynasty, this novel is one mature fiction masterpiece. Although there are some flaws as the strong traces imitation and the rough scene description. But it isn’t erase its unique literary value and significance.“Yuk Mi Dang Gi” can be described as a master of Chinese novels, written in Chinese by a Korean. As the author stated in the novel sequence, “learn the advantages of many writers” and“fill them with new mord”. The author draws essence from Chinese and Korean classical novels,adding his own understanding and critique of social reality in the novel. The research of this novel is helpful to understand the literary and social status of the Lee dynasty.
