Currently, it is commonly agreed in the field of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language that the key part is language education and culture education should be closely connected. The research on advanced cultural teaching has not been well developed as that of the middle and primary phase. Based on current theories and previous research findings, writer of the dissertation comprehensively selected, classified, counted and analyzed the cultural factors in two sets of advanced textbooksExperiencing Chinese Advanced Course and Modern Chinese Senior Tutorial, finding that there are many similarities in the selected cultural range, connotations and presenting measures of the two sets; but their individual perspectives of selecting materials, format designing and editing are differentiated due to different writing opinions. Through comprehensive analysis of the data and the characteristics of the textbooks, writer of the dissertation issued his own views on the cultural education and the cultural content selection of advanced integrated textbooks. By analyzing the conclusion and referring to his own practice experience, writer of the dissertation managed to launch a comprehensive cultural teaching design with tourism as the theme. Having mastered the knowledge in related units, students utilized it in the tasks with the mainline of the theme, which enabled students to review and check the acquired knowledge while introducing and describing cultural factors. This helped to comprehensively solve the problem of how much cultural factor had been mastered. With the present research, it is hoped to provide reference to future researches on cultural education of advanced integrated courses.
