Abstract/Summary:
Georg Lukacs is a famous theorist of Marx in twentieth Century, his early theory actively draws lessons from Marx, Engels, Hagel and so on. The novel theory is based on the comprehensive analysis of Kant’s doctrine, Hagel doctrine, Webb’s thought and theory, and combined with his own understanding of literary and artistic creation. Lukacs from the nature of the novel, the type of exploration, analysis of the connotation and characteristics of realism. He believed that the novel inherited the characteristics of the ancient Greek epic, through the form of irony and realistic writing techniques, to create a typical image, reflecting the social reality. Lukacs’ s theory of fiction has been published, which has led to the controversy of modern society for realism. He analyzed the function of the novel from the perspective of Marx’s philosophy of sociology, and it has a very important inspiration for literary criticism and literary and artistic creation.This paper on the basis of comprehensive analysis of Lukacs "theory of the novel" the creation of social background and culture, concepts related to the form, overall and realism of comprehensive interpretation.
