Rhetorical question is a question form which is different from interrogative, it has the particularity of structure and meaning, and rhetorical teaching is always treated as focus and difficulty in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, so it is quite necessary for us to do a research on teaching rhetorical question of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. This paper connects the research of rhetorical question with teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and investigates the situation of rhetorical question in the textbooks of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and indicates the deficiencies. This paper investigates the situation of abroad students acquiring the rhetorical question by questionnaire, and through the analysis of the rhetorical of corpus in errors, analyzes bias and misunderstandings when abroad students acquire rhetorical question. Finally, we clear up and conclude the deficiencies of textbooks and the questions of abroad students acquiring rhetorical questions, and then make some advices for teaching rhetorical question of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
