| In 2008 ——2016, Marvel studios made 12 superhero movies, all the character in the movie is the cartoon image of Marvel’s Comic. This 12 films has made $ 8.5 billion all over the world at the box office. "Captain America", "Iron Man" and "the Avengers" and other superhero movies, become the hottest type of movie of Hollywood.The high box office of Marvel movie thanks to the high technical standards, strong plot, spectacle film language and the multimedia industry model. The worldwide of the Marvel Universe is background of the whole story, the Superhero is the characters. Transmedia storytelling means the texts of each media can made a unique and valuable contribution for the whole storytelling, such as movies, drama, games, comics and other media.In this paper, by analysis of the marvel movie history and the typed of marvel film, the three aspects of marvel movies:plot, characters and space. In order to understand what is transmedia storytelling, how to produced marvel superhero movie. the difference between Intellectual Property products and transmedia storytelling products and trying to analysis the success of marvel movies. |
