Since the 1990s,Tanbi culture has been introduced into China for more than 20 years.The growth of Chinese Tanbi community culture is accompanied by the progress of Internet technology and the development of net literature industry.Initially,Tanbi community culture only has a secret sharing space between the edges and corners of the Internet.Later,with the rise and development of commercial literature websites,Tanbi community culture began to have an independent and open broad position.After 2014,the rise of IP boom has brought the Tanbi culture and the Tanbi community culture into the public's vision,and the commercial development of Tanbi culture in China is becoming more and more mature.This study is guided by Henry Jenkins' theory of convergence culture.With the methods of participatory observation,case analysis and interview,this paper explores the development of Chinese Tanbi community culture from the convergence culture,and analyses the active role of Chinese Tanbi community in the process of participatory cultural practice,including cultural creation,commercial economy and community energy.The research is divided into four chapters.The first chapter focuses on the analysis method of the theory of Convergence culture,the development of Chinese Tanbi community culture,and explores the relationship between the development of Chinese Tanbi community culture and Convergence culture.Chapter two focuses on the participatory cultural practice of Chinese Tanbi community,focusing on the multi-identity characteristics and multi-form participation of Tanbi fans in Convergence culture.Chapter Three focuses on the initiative role of Chinese Tanbi community in the commercial development of Tanbi culture,analyses its development strategy and economic logic behind it.It also explores the impact of the top-down entry of the Tanbi community into media production and bottom-up participatory media consumption on the commercial development of Tanbi culture.Chapter four focuses on how the Tanbi community exert community energy to participate in social public issues with collective intelligence,specifically in the copyright protection and the LGBT rights movement.The research finds that the participatory cultural practice of Chinese Tanbi community is accompanied by the commercialization of Tanbi culture,and its active role gradually expands from the cultural field to the commercial field,and finally to the social field.The radiation scope of Tanbi community energy is also expanding in this process.
