A Study On The "Confucianization" Of Xiangxi Society After The Reform Of The Qing Government

Since entering the Qing dynasty, has been adhering to absorb the Han culture, military and,netting Han Chinese policy. Kangxi 43 years(AD 1704), the Qing court begin Gai-tu-gui-liu policy in western region, taking the garrison,station troops, trimming,build strong military measures such as card at the same time,vigorously promote the "Confucian" Xiangxi region, mainly including building authority, academy,about Confucian education system,give minority intellectuals funding and imperial examinations of preferential policies,emphasis on Confucian sages first sacrifice,banned from many religious sacrificial activities and customs,people carry out three cardinal guides "and" loyalty buddhist ideas,and so on.Of the Qing government in western region policy,in Xiangxi minority education, stable social order of Xiangxi area,consolidate the national unity of the Qing dynasty, promote the integration of multi-ethnic and common development,and so on, objectively played an important role, and local ethnic culture in Xiangxi area. Identification of the value of Confucian culture,not only increase the Xiangxi region in multi-ethnic common cultural identity,and it is also an important link between ethnic identity and national identity. Formed by it, on the other hand, cultural identity and to ensure implementation by national force,trying to use a thought to regulate all regions and ethnic groups,the Qing government to such measures will bring "side effect" of cultural identity,cause culture resists phenomenon occur? This article attempts through the Gai-tu-gui-liu policy after the Qing government to "Confucian" of the west region, in order to explore ethnic identity of Confucian culture process,trying to find "country" in many national culture integration in the process of the role played by,and for the development of Xiangxi area management research provides a new perspective.
