After Pottery Age, Bronze Age and Lacquer Age, the use of porcelain in the Tang dynasty began to more widely available, so that it had formed the "south green northern white" situation that represented by Xing Kiln, Ding Kiln and Gongyi Kiln in the white glaze and by Yue Kiln,Ou Kiln, Wuzhou Kiln, Hongzhou Kiln, Shouzhou Kiln and Yuezhou Kiln in the celadon glaze.The ceramics production had developed rapidly in Tang dynasty. Qiong Kiln in sichuan province and Changsha Kiln in hunan province belong to the southern celadon system, different from other celadon kilns, they has their places in the history of ceramics because of their glaze colorful ceramics.Qiong Kiln sites located in qionglai in sichuan province, which began in the northern and southern dynasties to song dynasty decline and represents the development level of the ancient shu region ceramics industry. Changsha Kiln sites located in changsha in hunan province,which began in the tang dynasty and end in the five dynasties. Glaze colorful ceramics is the leading example of two kilns. There are many similarities between these two kilns in varieties,vessel shape, decorative ornamentation and so on. Two kilns were successfully burned red copper glaze and both grasped the technology of opacified glaze green. Therefore,understanding the relationship of the two kilns to research their porcelain fire situation,implements features and ancient sichuan, hunan region kilns of mutual relationship and influence is of great significance.This paper affirmed the relationships between Qiong Kiln and Changsha Kiln. And attemps to compare the histoical and cultural background, the characteristics of objects, the technology of porcelain making, then analysis the differences between two kilns and try to analysis the cause of this situation.
