Music can stimulate people’s inspiration,and inspire our wisdom.Wonderful music can activate our right brain, at the same time, it can inspire, stimulate and promote the coordination of our left and right brain, it can also promote our imagination and creativity.The piano, as the king of instruments, with its rich sound comparable to a symphony orchestra, and when playing with the hands and fingers and skill will undoubtedly be the most suitable instrument music enlightenment. So, learning the piano is more common in our country, children learn the piano far more than the number of people to learn other instruments, there are more children to join the ranks of learning the piano.Faced with such a booming piano education market, the face of ever-growing number of child fairly different specifications of large and small piano, arts training schools have mushroomed to emerge, to assume the popularity of the city’s community arts education jobs. The Author learned from the contact teacher training institutions in the city’s community arts education in recent years has made some progress and development, but there are still a number of issues worthy of our attention. We hope that through this investigation can discover and resolve these issues, for the promotion and popularization of the city piano education play a role.As the capital city of Yunnan Province,Kunming is an important gateway, who is facing Southeast Asia, South Asia.But the information resources and the level of education in piano lags behind coastal areas and inland. By extracting piano teachers and parents of students in Kunming five areas of 16 arts education and training institutions will be set up surveys and in-depth interviews.The situation of children in piano teaching in Kunming enlightenment arts training institutions as the basis, summed up the city’s current elementary education of children piano the problems, such as teachers’ professional quality to be improved, compared with the choice of materials aging, single, children piano level evaluation mechanism imperfect. Therefor exploring the causes of these problems and put forward their own views.The dissertation consists by five parts: introduction, methodology, findings, analysis and summary. The introduction outlines the background of this research, define the concept and related theories, contents and status of defined overview. The second part, the study methods, include the purposes, the significance of research and innovation, and describe the methods and extent of this study. The third part presents the survey findings and in-depth interviews, it’s part of the parent questionnaire and interviews, among them the basic literacy for teachers, textbook content selection, the teaching situation, the basic situation of children, child piano piano Situation and parents of the child’s expectations and other aspects of research. The fourth part is the discussion on the Kunming arts training institutions teaching children piano enlightenment existing problems were analyzed. The fifth part is a summary of this survey. Make a few suggestions for solving the problem of the survey findings.
