| Lexical chunks widely exist in language.In English teaching field,study on lexical chunk has achieved a lot. In recent years,experts of Chinese-teaching start to discuss the important effecrs of the lexical chunks theory.But at present,the study on Chinese lexical chunk itself as well as it used in teaching practice,is far from expectation.Teachers and students in Chinese class lack of awareness of lexical chunk.The author reviews the development history of the theory about chunks of language, and makes brief summary of the research of chunks of language in Teaching of Chinese as a Foreign Language(TCFL). With the practice in TCFL, the author makes a definition of Chinese chunk and defines the research scope of the thesis as four categories: word level fixed chunk, word level chunk with vacancy, sentence level fixed chunk and sentence level chunk with vacancy, and several small categories.Then, the author concludes the overall state of overseas students using Chinese chunk and analyzes the errors stem form it by means of the analysis and research of the combination of questionnaires and HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus. Next, we sort out the cases of chunks of language in Developing Chinese: Intermediate Comprehensive Course, which is popular and influential in TCFL circle at present. Therefore, we confirm the advantages of the chunk teaching as well as the necessity and feasibility of introducing the ideas of chunk teaching into the TCFL classroom and to make some relevant teaching suggestions.Finally, the author designs a teaching case of chunks of language in the hope that this study and introduction can help the teachers and students of TCFL be able to cultivate the awareness of chunks of language and can play a valuable role in later generations. |
