A Study Of Chunk Teaching For Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language

The traditional grammar centered teaching mode is boring, student slack interest in learning lead to the unsatisfactory teaching effect. Therefore in the application back ground for foreign language teaching, lexical chunks teaching method came into being and gradually came into people’s view, and more and more researchers pay their attention to it.This paper sorted out the domestic and foreign scholars’ research on lexical chunk teaching and development of teaching method, then lucubrate it. Aim at teaching, we discussed the chunks teaching method on specific application applied in comprehensive class, listening, speaking and writing class. In addition, on the basis of the questionnaire, analyze teachers’ understanding and application on chunk method. And take oral class as example, design detail teaching method using chunk method and recommend suggestion on the lexical chunks teaching.Finally, analyze and summarize the limitations of this study.
