A Study On The Chinese Chunk In Second Language Acquisition

Language chunk is an important constituent of language, playing a vital role in the language study. In recent years, the teaching Chinese as a second language centers round lexical teaching, involving the language chunk. But at present the research of Chinese language chunk is insufficient and superficial so that Chinese language chunk is far from the teaching system. On the basis of western language chunk, this paper analyzes Chinese chunks; taking the real materials as research objects, adopting independent-sample T test, this paper confirms the supposition that the more you use the Chinese chunk, the better your Chinese proficiency; describes the general characteristics of language chunk use, analyses the differences of different scale foreign students in the process of language chunk use, makes a lot of related theoretical analysis. According to the research, we make a conclusion that language chunk is a shortcut of language study and put forward the related teaching advises.
