A Comparative Study Of Oral Biography And Text

Yi nationality is a very verbally artistic creativity of the nation.It has a long tradition of oral narrative, oral literature is rich, content is abundant.Before the Chinese character was produced, Yi people use their wisdom to achieve collective creation of oral literature, and pass from generation to generation in the form of word of mouth. The development of Yi people’s real life style and mentality are reflected from ancient ballads to folk narrative poem.The richness of a nation’s oral literature depends on it’s oral culture. Yi folk oral narrative poetry epitomizes the Yi people’s love for the charm of literature and art, and also it’s an important part of traditional Chinese culture, as well as the cultural heritage of mankind verbal memory and spiritual wealth. Yi folk narrative poem A Mo Ni Re Drawed much attention in the colorful folklore of the Yi people.It has been spreading for thousands of years in the form of word mouth, enduring and remaining alive in people’s production and life. After tempered processing of countless generations of oral folk poets.it forms the eternal heritage of verbal memory and carries the ancient cultural information.A Mo Ni Re in poetry style writes the marriage tragedy of women of Yi nationality in old age, mainly for expressing emotion, and less importantly for narration with rich content, exquisite language and complex plot. This thesis takes the perspective of folk oral literature theory and western folklore “Parry-Lord Theory”, uses theory to define “oral tradition” and “text”, and then focuses on the comparison between oral transmission and text. This thesis is divided into five parts, and the first chapter mainly elaborates the research background, research status and review. The second chapter is mainly the overview of folk oral literature and the interpretation of the text of the narrative poem A Mo Ni Re, brief introduction of the development of the folk oral literature, clarification of the relationship between folk oral literature and writer literature, and introduction of the theme of the thesis through brief introduction of the poem text. Chapter three mainly explores the evolution and development process of A Mo Ni Re from oral transmission to the text, this part focuses on the changes and causes from oral transmission to the text. The fourth chapter is the comparison part between the oral transmission and the text of A Mo Ni Re, which discusses the similarities and differences between oral transmission and the text in content and structure, comparison between two texts, among three dialect areas. The fifth chapter mainly discusses the problem of the inheritance of Yi oral literature A Mo Ni Re, and puts forward effective countermeasures to extend and develop the traditional oral culture, and together creates the home of traditional spirit culture.
