Folk tales are part of China's rich and rich traditional culture.They have many national characteristics unique to our country,and they contain novel national cultural elements,such as the character's styling characteristics and national costume elements.They are the Chinese people for for thousands of years.The cultural treasures that have been passed down.However,with the changes in modern society and the accelerated pace of life,people are paying more and more attention to convenience,entertainment,and personalization.The spontaneous dissemination and inheritance model of folk stories based on their oral transmission has gradually adapted to information dissemination.The rapid development of big data is gradually disappearing into our horizons.How to better protect and pass on the cultural heritage of folktales has been raised as a new research object and research field in academia.At present,animation is one of the hottest cultural industry development forms in China.It is not only a way of leisure and entertainment in people's production and life,but also an artistic creation means of artists.It is also a cultural media.Anime is a kind of comprehensive art.It is an artistic expression that integrates painting,comics,film,digital media,photography,music,literature and many other art categories.It creates a kind of all-round way with its rich appeal and affinity.The immersive experience has a natural appeal to the majority of young people.Anime should be an active participant in cultural protection and can provoke a major role in promoting cultural heritage.Therefore,this paper defines the title of the thesis as “the study of the animation inheritance and dissemination of folk tales” and explores the feasibility of combining folk tales with animation.This paper will be roughly divided into four parts for discussion.The first part is an overview of the folktales themselves.They are the connotations,classifications and characteristics of folk tales.From understanding what folk stories are,what types they have,summing up the characteristics,and paving the way for the following status and difficulties.The second part is mainly to solve the problem of the survival status of folk tales and the advantages that animation can provide for its development.This section first describes its current "departure" from the separation of folk stories from the soil of contemporary social life,weakened primary functions,low cultural identity,and a single atmosphere of inheritance.Secondly,from the characteristics of the grassroots of animation,the wide audience,the characteristics of time and space,and the cultural attributes of animation itself,the author elaborates the "contribution" of "can do" for thenew development of folk stories,mainly through the comparison of the two.Highlight the advantages of animation as a cultural media.The third part is the animation expression analysis of "White Snake: Origin" which is successfully transformed into the animation of folk stories.This part revolves around the animated film "White Snake:Origin" as a case for appreciation of works.First,it introduces the general situation of the work,analyzes the adaptation of the script of the folk story "White Snake",and sorts out the differences and similarities between the two.Secondly,from the overall art style,modeling design features,lens application characteristics,scene and prop design,music and other aspects to specify the characteristics of the folklore animation,for the fourth part of the experience and implications buried in the foreshadowing.The fourth part is the experience and measures recommendations.Combining the problems of folktale culture communication with the successful experience of "White Snake: Origin",discussing how folk stories can be combined with animation to make it develop,and hope to provide useful reference for the development of Chinese traditional culture and the development of contemporary animation industry.
