Moral education is an important aspect of the countries and national. We are payingattention to the moral education and individual moral accomplishment since ancienttimes, and to improve every person’s moral quality. We are attention to everybody’smoral accomplishment including kings and civilians. We claim of the benevolentpolitics, we hope to improve the ruling class’s moral quality to maintain socialstability and promote the development of the society. So the moral education is animportant aspect in our education’s history. Confucianism is national studies inChinese feudal society and the ruling class praises highly of it and vigorouslyadvocates it. Confucianism changes and develops from the different dynasty; however,paying attention to moral and culture is always the center of it. Wang lives in themiddle of Ming dynasty when Zeuxis who is Confucianism master at that timedevelops Confucianism much, and it is praised highly by the ruler and scholars andthe people. However, it couldn’t adapt to the economic and social development. Atthat time, there was more and more phenomenon of moral decay, including king andcivilians. They only said it but not do it. Wang yanking put forward his theory in thiscontext and hope to reform social and wake up people’s conscience inside. He alsowanted to resolve social contradictions and maintain social stability. Wang yangMing’s moral education thought is based on the predecessors’ theory and combineswith his actual situation. He experienced it and fined its shortage evenly formed hischaracteristics theory.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part introduced the background ofWang yang Ming’s moral education thought which included theoretical and practicalbackground. Confucianism and Buddhist thoughts have much influence on Wangyang Ming’s moral education and also include his personal life and his growthexperience. The second part is about Wang yang Ming’s moral education’s methodsand principles which provide path for his thought’s spread and practice. The second part also closely around the practicality of moral. In the last part, it introduces thecontemporary value of Wang yang Ming’s thought. Today, we have rapiddevelopment of economy and science and technology, so high technology andadvanced knowledge become indispensable factor of modern life. People struggling tochase knowledge and science and technology in pursuit of a better life, however,moral can not keep up with the pace of time and appears instead backwards. Theultimate purpose of this paper is to recall people’s attention on the traditional moral,and solve the problem of today’s morality and development of a harmonious society.
