Based On Wang Yangming’s Thought Of Moral Education Research

There is no doubt that Virtue way to current moral education provides another perspective of enlightenment under the circumstances of leaning simply and popularly.The core of Wang’s philosophy is concerned about what makes people do good and get rid of evil, so on the basic of human limitation, he dissected the internal and inborn predicament of human virtue. Human nature is purely good while human mind is not and the conflict between them gives birth to two-way dimension of virtue and action---good at one time but bad another; and human beings exist on the basic of human relationship which is the human essence, so human beings should take their responsibilities consciously and willingly. Unfortunately, many people are not willing and able to take their responsibilities and can’t get away from evils and do good even if they are aware of their existence. Because of this kind of predicament, Wang put out a simple and practical method---conscience and attaining conscience. Wang Yangming thinks, the effectiveness of moral education must be based on their own way of virtue height based achievement. Everyone should according to explore their own temperament in its practical advantages,its characteristics and advantages, to an occupation of engaging in their own likes and excels in the occupation to fulfill responsibility, making positive contribution to society. The effectiveness of moral education for adult subject must be unity, knowledge and behavior.At first,people in the daily affairs always uphold the conscience and earnestly do now have affairs, to fulfill the ethical responsibility. If each social main body can find its own position, according to personal achievement, social order is in order,and social relationship will be pleasure.The main body of this thesis contains seven parts:First,introduction embodying the writing background and significance, and the research on Wang Yangming’s moral education thought. Mencius’theory of good nature was the direct source of his conscience and ideological trend about philosophy of mind at that time was its ideological foundation. The nature is absolutely good but the mind not, so he thinks the conscience cultivation should be get from the combination of mind cultivation and practice. Fourth, Wang’s theory centering on conscience about virtue cultivation. Everyone has the potential to become a saint according to conscience cultivation. A natural difference of virtue and disposition can be formed according to conscience cultivation. Conscience and attaining conscience give birth to the principles, aims and way of virtue cultivation. Fifth, The effectiveness of moral education of Wang Yang Ming’s judgment standard is the standard of the effectiveness of moral education of motive and effect, which is a more important process of motivation. Sixth, Specific approach to the effectiveness of moral education.Moral guide virtue, and moral effectiveness determines the virtue of levels, and morality determines the level of moral responsibility, moral responsibility means the achievement of the self.
