On The Middle East Policy Of Pu Zhengxi 's Government In Korea

Foreign policy is the core to understanding the development of international relations, the reasons and behavioral patterns behind the development of a country’s foreign policy are the dominant issues in international relations. To study Park Chung-hee government’s paths and patterns of foreign policy in the Middle East, has an important significance in assessing the opportunities and constraints under the international system, promoting the development of the international diplomatic community.Park Chung-hee Administration’s Middle East foreign policy started in the period of gold to stagflation of the capitalist countries, the Middle East use oil as a weapon launched the first oil crisis. In this context, according to the theory of energy economics, in order to leap forward economically, one country must obtain energy, and since there are abundant energy resources in the Middle East, so Middle East diplomacy is an important way to strengthen South Korea’s rapid economic development. From the perspective of geopolitics and moderate constructivist theory, South Korea and the Middle East are not only materially needed, but also are influenced by intangible factors, the political "pro-Arab policy " adopted by Park Chung-hee government in the Middle East, the economic energy diplomacy, architectural labor services output, cultural religious exchanges are carried out under the influence of these factors. Through this series of foreign policy, South Korea achieved a leap in development, the Middle East and the Korean Peninsula has also been influenced.It indicates that the government diplomatic decision-making, the role of the leaders has impacts on the country’s development, thus providing useful inspirations for Korea and other countries in making foreign policies about Middle East.
