A Study On The Path Of Building A Service - Oriented Marxist Party

In November2011，Hu Jintao pointed out In the18th national congress of CPC reportthat we should build the Party into an innovative, service-oriented and learning Marxistgoverning party. By taking these steps, we can ensure that the Party is always the firmleadership core guiding the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. It’s the firsttime that the party put forward the plan to build a service-oriented Marxist governing party,which marks the important changes of the party’s principle of governing and way ofgovernance. To build a service-oriented Marxist governing party is the need of the eradevelopment, various requests of the masses and the party building. In the new historicalconditions, it’s of the great importance to study on how to build a service-oriented Marxistgoverning party.This paper adopts materialistic dialectic, conceptual analysis, literature consultationand comparative method to discuss how to how to build a service-oriented Marxistgoverning party. The paper has four parts.The first part is resisting about the connotation of the service-oriented Marxistgoverning party from four aspects including. It has three obvious characters: strong viewson politics, ever-increasing of the party’s way of governance and the clear definiteness ofpowers and duties. In addition, this paper clarifies the dialectic relationship between theparty with three types of features for deepening the understanding to the service-orientedMarxist governing party.The second part is resisting about the theoretical bases and the present conditions ofthe service-oriented Marxist governing party. The theoretical bases include five aspects:historical materialism, the View on the masses of Marxism, the theory of party building ofMarxism, the purpose of serving the people whole-heartedly and the human-orienteddevelopment theory. The present conditions include three aspects: the rapid developmentof productivity, the development of the spirit of democracy and the democratic politics andthe cooperative relationship between the party and the masses.The third part is resisting about great significance both theoretically and practically ofthe building of a service-oriented the Marxist governing party. To build a service-orientedMarxist governing party is a continuation and development of the party’s purposes, thechanges of the party’s principle of governing and way of governance and the need of theparty building. To build a service-oriented Marxist governing party is also good for solvingthe problem of, impulsing the development of socialism democracy politics, promoting the construction of the service government and safeguarding and realizing the people’sfundamental interests.The forth part is resisting about how to build a service-oriented Marxist governingparty. The article believes that we should promoting the construction from five aspectsincluding service consciousness, Party-masses relationship, people’s well-being, thegeneral quality of members of our Party and the Constitution and the law. The article alsoinsists we should establish the long-term system for building the service-oriented Marxistgoverning party.
