As is known to all, women are an important part of the family as well as social life, whowork as a vital bridge to connect their family and the society. However, news information andsurvey data in recent years have shown that female crime rate continues to rise, which sounds analarm to the stability of the development.As is mentioned on the United Nations Conference onthe prevention of crime and the treatment of criminals,“There are more and more femalecriminals, and the change of the degree and nature of female crimes rewards prudent scientificalresearch internationally.”The number of female criminals in Shandong Province continues to increase and hasreached the top in history.Female crimes bring numerous influence to the society and theirfamilies.The harm to the economic development cannot be valued either.Therefore, an importanttheme for prisons nowadays is to raise the scientific level of the social management of femalecriminals under the diverse but harmonious environment.This thesis put forward practicalpolicies to prevent female crimes and remould female criminals based on the theories as wellas statistics getting from researches,surveys in and abroad. It is expected that this thesis canprovide practical learning resources for reducing the crime rate and helping female criminals toreturn to the society as soon as possible. The research methods of empirical study and theoreticalstudy are involved in the analysis of female criminals in recent three years.Whole survey andcase analysis are also combined to better the research. The author held a careful research throughinformation collection,questionnaires, interviews and case studies to get much valuableresources.Useful information in periodicals,internet and theses of experts is also wisely used inthis thesis.All of the efforts above in theory and practice contribute to the successful writing ofthis thesis.The three major methods for the remould in prison includes regulatory reform,educationremould and laboring remould. And the remould concept for female criminals in ShandongWomen’s Prison lies in the combination of punishment and remould aiming at remouldcrinimals.Regulatory remould is a major remould measure which shows the punishment ofprisons. The aim of education remould is to help criminals set up correct outlook on world, lifeand values and improve their ideological and ethical standards and sense of the law, so that thefemale re-crime rate can be reduced.Laboring remould is also an important part of the progressof criminals. The renould system is relatively perfect. However,attention should also be paid tobalance the three methods and improve the quality of the police.The remould work towards female criminals in the new era should focus on the scientific education remould, the improving of criminals quality and ability to make a living. The policeshould work hard to strengthen the correction and predict the re-crime of female criminals. Theauthor introduced maternal culture references, and acted evidence-based correction to studybetter ways for the remould of female criminals. Based on the education leading and the mentalintervention, more Chinese traditional virtues will be involved in the education to create abetter road of remould for all kinds of female prisoners. The legal construction of prisons shouldbe push forward under the guidance of legal concepts,legal system and legal procedures and therules of execution of punishment should be put into standard form. It is believed that under themethods above, female criminals can be remoulded well and behave well after their release. Inthis way, the top aim of the prison is achieved and great contribution will be done to theharmonious development of the social culture.
