A Study On The Construction Of Overseas Chinese In The Role Of Overseas Chinese

Overseas Chinese,a special group,have made a great contribution to theircountry.However,because of the deep feelings and the sense of ancestral identity fromthe overseas Chinese and their descendants,they also play an important role in theirancestral hometown’s construction.This paper,take Yuhu(a famous hometown ofoverseas Chinese of Wenzhou City)for example,tend to discuss the important role ofoverseas Chinese in their ancestral hometown’s construction,by using field survey andhistorical research methods,and by following aspects:the summary of the overseasChinese of Yuhu town and the overseas Chinese’s hometown,overseas Chinese’spolitics activities,The importance of overseas Chinese’s donation on the followingaspects:education, transportation, cultural and leisure cites, medical field and so on.
