The Influence Of Mass Media On Ideological And Political Education In The New Period And The Countermeasures

With the development of global economic and new technology,the human societyget into the era of knowledge economy and information.At the same time,the massmedia has rapid development around the world,even get into each corner of our dailylife.The development of mass media has the profound influence on China’seconomic,political,ideological,cultural and other aspects and plays a powerful socialfunction.We must change the past working mode,life style and mode of thinking,onlyin this way can people adapt to the effects of these changes in a better way,promotethe development of society and the progress of the spiritual civilization.Therefore,thenew era of mass media has significant impact on our life.The impact on the whole society of mass media in the new period,are inevitablyreflected in people’s ideology,and also in process of Ideological and politicaleducation,which has both positive and negative effects.A positive impact on theperformance is that the mass media has enriched the content of Ideological andpolitical education,extended way of Ideological and political education and opened anew environment for the development of Ideological and political education.At thesame time, the mass media has negative influence on the ideological and politicaleducation in new period: most of the mass media employees has weak ideological andpolitical education consciousness. This information did not conform to socialist valueoutlook,which interfered with the content of Ideological and political education andalso misled the object of Ideological and political education. In real life, the positiveand negative impact of mass media effects occurred almost simultaneously, and theso-called “positive” or “negative” can not decide their form, but by the disseminationof the contents of the audience who plays a guiding role. How to utilize and promotethe positive effects of the mass media and decrease its negative effect is theimportance issue which should be considered by educators in the new era. Science and technology and social economy will not stagnate, with its progressand development of mass media’s influence on the ideological and political educationwill continue in the future.This is the fact that we can not avoid also or get rid of.Ifpeople want to obtain well education effect in the new era of ideological and politicaleducation and it is necessary to make full use of the positive factors of mass media,toresist negative factors. Therefore,I puts forward several countermeasures to negativeeffects in the article:first,to raise awareness of the ideological and political educationof the media practitioners,the thesis makes full use of the mass media to expand thecontent of ideological and political education in the new period,the last is to passlegislation to purify the media environment of ideological and political education inour country.This thesis studied from the perspective of dissemination study,journalism,theideological and political education,and based on the previous research results. Thisthesis combined with the literature materials and reintegrate relationship between themass media and the Ideological and political education. An then it analyzes that themass media has the positive influnce on the ideological and political education andthe ideological and political education should put emphasis on dealing with thenegative effect which mass media brings in the new period.
