In recent decades, maritime delimitation and maritime territorial disputes become a hot topic in the field of international relations and international law. In September2010, Russia and Norway signed the " Treaty Between the Kingdom of Norway and the Russian Federation Concerning Maritime Delimitation and Cooperation in the Barents Sea and the Arctic Ocean" and brought40years of negotiations to an end. The treaty resolved maritime delimitation dispute in the Barents Sea, fishing and cross-border oil and gas development and other issues. Barents Sea dispute has attracted widespread attention and the international community with its uniqueness and complexity.Given the domestic academic research does not complete this maritime delimitation; I hope that the researches of the article will broad these issues to be fully studied. This paper cover four parts, the origin of the Barents Sea dispute, the process analysis Barents Sea dispute resolution, continued part is the evaluation and meaning of the maritime delimitation in the Barents Sea. By using the framework of the game theory,also using cost and revenue assumptions and its model curve, we can conclude why the negotiation’s running track between Russia and Norway will turn from the initial non-cooperation to cooperation.In the East China Sea and South China Sea,China face maritime delimitation and maritime territorial disputes with regional powers, referencing to the experience of maritime delimitation in the Barents Sea,I want to explore what factors and the way China can learn from it.I will give an appropriate discussion in the last part of the article.
