With the data of CGSS2006, the thesis attempts to test the theoretical perspective and assumption that the duel elite theory should be reflected in social life. The researcher analyses the homogamy of the spouses’ class and their fathers’ class when they were first married, and the changing trends before and after the reform and opening-up policy by using log-linear model.According to the results, on the one hand, both administrative elites and technical elites are most inclined to marry someone from their own class, the duel elites are divided in social life, and these findings basically support the theoretical speculation that the duel elite theory should be reflected in social life. On the other hand, compared with the other class, administrative elites and technical elites are more likely to choose marriage to each other, this shows that the division between the dual elites is not entirely absolute, and there is possibility of the penetration of class. In terms of the period, the class homogamy doesn’t show significant difference before and after the reform and opening-up policy.
