An Analysis Of The Motivation Of Mass Incident

With the deepening of reform and opening up, China entered a restructuring of social, structural transformation and social reform, touch and impact the interests of the people-oriented, power relations and values, new problems, new conflicts have been increased, all kinds of social conflict show a continued upward trend, including the frequent occurrence of mass incidents occurred and the number continues to rise, with an impact on social stability and the outstanding problems. At present, the mainstream discourse in our country, often to groups of healthy social events as "sick" in the political influence in the name of the current Chinese society often happens to hide a variety of social conflicts, and stubbornly hidden and escape can only lead to frequent events and re-upgrade. Therefore, with our empirical reality of social conflict accumulated in urgent need of a different academic field observation and theoretical research, in particular the need for some form of group events of in-depth case study.This paper is based on my personal experience with the local community events-A city of Wenzhou "8.18" event for the study and case studies. A view of the city of Wenzhou "8.18" incident in the social transformation of this particular social context, the author first of China’s social transformation were analyzed, while the concept of mass incidents were summarized in order, then we focused on analyzing the Wenzhou A City "8.18" incident causes. I focus on the incident, until the upgrade of the entire development process, from the origin of the event to expand, upgrade the three stages of the incident conducted a comprehensive analysis of motivation, that the city of Wenzhou A "8.18" incident originated in the enforcement of the fairness of the public security department question and the resulting crisis of confidence in the government, the gap between the general social discontent that produced the event further expand the scale and structure of the slow final upgrade is to make the event the outbreak.This paper tries discussed by the city of Wenzhou A "8.18" incident, the root cause analysis of similar cases, from a new perspective on the current group of Chinese frequent new interpretation of events to attract government attention, and then to develop appropriate targeted countermeasures.
