As a typical critical social thought, featured with grassroots identity and Irrationalism, Populism has been activating both positive and negative roles in the various periods of modern China’s history, including the CPC led Revolution before1949, the Socialist Construction in1950s, and other political movements. With the development of today’ s Reform and Opening-up, many social problems has been emerged gradually, such as wealth gap, social contradiction, and the revival of global Populism. Under the help of advanced Internet technology, the Populism has been growing and integrating with the New Leftist ideals, Nationalism, Liberalism, etc. this phenomenon has complicated the current political situation and also increasingly endangered the social stability.
