The Nationality is a relationship between the state and citizen of rights and obligations. According to Nationality Law of the People’s Republic of China promulgated in1980, Chinese government doesn’t admit dual nationality. The public security organs as the competent authorities of the management of the domestic nationality, strict household registration management and citizens’ immigration status review to ensure the effectiveness of the management of nationality.With the deepening of China’s legal construction and the rise of civic consciousness, strict household registration management and citizens’ immigration status review is no longer adapted to the needs of social development, gradually showing from tight to wide development trend, specifically with civil immigration censorship canceled, but in facilitating the immigration of Chinese citizens, it has led to not be able to effectively combat to curb this new issue of dual nationality.In the field of exit and entry frontier inspection nationality management, affected by policy, special exit exemption of visas, visas on arrival, the electronic visa policies have been put, Chinese citizens go to meet the situation countries only need a valid Chinese passport and tickets. Thus originally indirectly through the inspection of passports and visas nationality management become to failure. The dual nationality violations can take advantage of visa-free visa on arrival, electronic signature in the process of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection procedures to avoid nationality management.In this paper, in-depth analysis of Frontier Inspection reality of the plight of nationality management as the starting point, researching and analysising of China’s nationality policy status and history, as well as Hong Kong, Macao and foreign nationality management approach, to discuss China’s Nationality management policy adjustment through horizontal and vertical comparison, the necessity, feasibility and specific operating conditions, and learn from Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Region Nationality management approach, to abolish the terms of recognize dual nationality and automatically lose Chinese nationality.
