Vietnam is a country of many nationalities, ethnic economy, culture, society, lifeand development are not balanced, ethnic conflicts have occurred from time to time,the national problem has become one of the difficult problems the Vietnamesegovernment stable regime. So, The government according to the different historicalperiod to develop and adapt to the situation of ethnic policy in Vietnam. Before thereform and opening up Vietnam, due to various historical periods of the revolutionarytasks and goals are different, the Vietnamese government formulates differentnational policy. With the Communist Party of Vietnam national view change as wellas the national policy adjustment, the Vietnamese Communist Party and thegovernment in the Marx nationalism view and Ho Chi Minh thought,, adhere to theinter ethnic equality and unity, help each other, common progress, long-termcoexistence, stable development policy, implemented a series of practical nationalpolicies.
