With the improvement of productivity and healthcare, the life expectancy of our population gradually increased in recent years, coupled with the family planning policy implemented in late 1970s and early 1980s, aging situation is increasing seriously. A large population is China’s basic national conditions, in the 21st century, aging is growing very rapidly, according to data released by Ministry of Civil Affairs in the end of 2013, the population of people who aged over 60 has exceeded two hundred million, accounting for almost 15% of the total population. Such a large group has brought a great challenge to elderly care services, how to solve this problem related to the stable social development and made great progress.Xi’an is the first city which enter the aging in Shaanxi Province, the growing elderly population and the accelerated development of the aging lead Xi’an take a huge raise pressure, by the end of 2013, the population of people who aged over 60 has reached 122.72 million. Based on years of population data and literature, through field research to further understanding the basic situation of the current status of the population in Xi’an and Pension services, analysis the overall and specific needs of the elderly. Based on the analysis of survey data, Xi’an growing aging population makes Pension services exist serious imbalance problem between supply and demand, In order to solve the problems generated by supply and demand, the author believes should be on the basis of the seven components of Pension services to make the resources using effectively and scientific, improve the utilization of existing resources continuously, expanding the innovation resource use patterns based on actual needs of the elderly, increase resource availability, improve the lag status of Pension service, let the elderly enjoy a more comprehensive and more targeted Pension services.
