| Japan has entered the aging society in 1970’ s. With the increase of aging population, problems concerning old people also gradually revealed. One of the most prominence is old parents’ support problem. After the second world war, as the family size miniaturized, and since 1980’s women went out to work led to the traditional family support functions for elderly increasingly weakened. Especially because of the burden of aggravating nursing and the lack of paramedics, lead to the social problems, such as abuse, lonely death and traffic accidents are increasing.In order to better solve the old parents’ support problems, the Japanese government has taken corresponding measures actively in the pension system and home care support. Although there are a lot of problems, a perfect system of social security has basically formed.Unlike Japan, China has entered the aging society in 2000 in the stage of being a developing country. At present our country’s social security system is not perfect enough, regional economic gap and other problems still remain. It can be said that the old parents’ support problem is an unprecedented major issue for China.So far, the research of Japanese old parents support problems, mainly in the sociology of family,gerontology, social security and other fields have reap greatly.However the relevant researches of our country is less.So this paper grasped the trend and present situation of old parents’ support mode,from the 1970’s till now, during which namely Japan entered the aging society more than 40 years. On this basis,the author makes an analysis of its reasons for changes. Then, summarize the experience and lessons in Japan, and put forward some reasonable suggestions solving counter meatures of our country’s old parents’ support problems. |
