Study On Rural Public Infrastructure Supply In Huaining County

Adequate supply of public infrastructure has been considered to be a booster of ec onomic growth and social development. A region’s rural public infrastructure supply can reflect its rural economy and farmers’living conditions, so it’s essential to strengthen th e research on the supply of rural public infrastructure to improve the rural public infrastr ucture supply. Huaning County is an economically underdeveloped county of Yuxi. Its t otal supply of public infrastructure in rural areas is so inadequate and inefficient that ser iously hinders the rural economic and social development and the imrovement of fanner s’living quality.Therefore, it’s urgent to improve Huaning rural public infrastructure sup ply and find a suitable and characteristic supply way for Huaning rural areas.An empirical study is conducted in Huaning’s rural areas on the current situation o f the supply of public infrastructure on communications, agriculture,forestry, water, po wer, culture, entertainment, health, education and other aspects. This paper analyzes the existing problems in the the supply of rural public infrastructure in Haning:the unreaso nable supply decision-making mechanism,supply lags,single financing channel,unclear governing body,unreasonable overall planning,weak supervision and so on.Then the papaer puts forward the corresponding suggestions to improve Huaning r ural public infrastructure supply. The ultimate goal is to make Huaning rural public infra structure supply more scientific and effective, let it continuously boost Huaning’s econo my, and enhance Huaning people’s happiness index.
