With the rapid development of economic construction, the power industry whichis the lifeblood of the national economy has obtained fast development. However, anincreasing number of personal injury compensation caused by the high-voltageelectric shock has occurred along with the expansion of power grid and economicdevelopment, and there are a lot of disputes over such cases, including the legalapplication and the identification of reasonability.This paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter outlines the concept andclassification of liability for personal injury by electric shock, and elaborates thecomposition elements of such cases and the current related legal system.The second chapter discusses the subject of liability for personal injury byhigh-voltage electric shock, and how to determine the main responsibility.The third chapter introduces the principle and the system of liability fixation forpersonal injury by high-voltage electric shock, and analyzes how the non-faultliability and fair liability fixation can be applicated in cases of personal injury byhigh-voltage electric shock.Based on the previous chapter, the fourth chapter systemically studies theprinciple of fault offset in the use of personal injury compensation by the high-voltageelectric shock, and enumerates and analyzes the exemption cause of compensation forhuman detriment caused by the high-voltage electric shock.The fifth chapter analyzes the status of electric shock compensation for moraldamage, and the condition of liability to moral compensation due to high-voltageelectric shock.The last chapter is focusing on the background, reasons and influences of TheJudicial Interpretation on Personal Damage Compensation by Electrocution, andmakes legal suggestions as how to improve the current Electric Power Law accordingto the above research and analysis.
