This article recommended the design of the video dealing IP core based on FPGA, this IP core realize the module of the H.264 coding system that calculate about 90% algorithm time. This module is the estimate module in sport. Firstly, the article analyzes the current prevailing FPGA structure and the character of FPGA, and recommends the IP core design procedure. Secondly, the article explains the key algorithm module of the H.264 coding standard - sport estimate module and how to realize it. The article analysis the sport estimate module and the module involves detailed, and introduces the realization of the sport estimate algorithm module based on FPGA device, the article gives system grade realization block diagram and the module interface figure. The realization of the logic grade gives the block diagram of the system architecture. It introduces the detail logic design method. Finally, it is proved that the design method is correct and feasible for the key algorithm module which is simulated by the software .This design can made into IP Core used in H.264 and the code can be reused by the system. We can predict that it not only has far-reaching realistic meaning, tbut also have inestimable market prospects.
