Design And Implementation Of Mobile Instant Messaging Based On J2ME

After traversed instant messaging and by integrating J2ME technology and Jabber/XMPP protocol, this paper designs a mobile instant messaging and realizes the chatting function between mobile terminals. Firstly, this paper analyzes the development and problems of instant messaging. And then, J2ME and its wireless development environment are introduced and Jabber protocol and Jabber system structure are followed. Lastly, by analyzing the system functions, a mobile instant messaging is designed and implemented.The method of extreme programming which lowers the developing difficulty and improves the developing efficiency is adopted during the design of this system. At the same time, this paper adopts MVC model and chooses J2ME as development platform and uses Jabber/XMPP protocol, which make the software strong for portability and lay a good foundation for future research to resolve the problem of un-intercommunication of different instant messagings.
