The Design And Realization Of The Video Conferencing Network Management System

With the application of video conferencing system widely in corporation, government and other organizations, the effective management will play an important role in the video conferencing system..How we can manage network device of video conferencing system and the equipment in it well? if we manage these by ourselves, it must be very bad and inefficient.Therefore the management of the equipment in the network has become the one of the problem, that the IT department want to study.This article is a video conferencing network management software system research and design. Major ones are as follows:First introduced the management technology of NMS(Net Manage System), working principle, SNMP protocol specification and the realization of the principle and the relevant MIB,SMI, such as network management elements. The paper investigates the data type definition of the ASN.1 the agreement,BER encoding and other basic knowledge.In allusion to structure and characteristics of the video conferencing system. the paper designs the software architecture of video conferencing systems of the network management system. The entire network management system is based on the SNMP protocol. The design of software architecture includes the two parts—SNMP management station and SNMP Agent:(1) In allusion to network management station of video conferencing system. First of all, a detailed analysis of its functions and to design the corresponding function modules. Among them, the business layer is core of the network management(SNMP management station) system, at the same time, the paper analysis other modules about the usr management and alarm management in detail, Through SNMP protocol the exchange of data between the network management system and Agent, the results are displayed with graphics,text or tabular.(2) In allusion to SNMP Agent. SNMP Agent is running in the video conferencing equipment, the Agent details of architecture and related technologies.the paper designed MIB information, and given its analytical modules function chart and flow chart.The design of the paper is based on the simple network management the agreement the SNMPv2 standard, and the work principle that network equipments act for, the procedure of the network management.system is developed with C++, matched with the SNMP++ and Agent++.and the procedure is passed the test, worked well.
