The Study Of Inflow FDI And Vietnamese Economic Development

Vietnam's economy become increasing developing rapidly since Vietnam adopted the market economy and emerging into the world policy in 1986. Because of that, Vietnam avoided the economic crisis and come to a new era. One of the main reasons of it is the inflow FDI. With a view to realizing Vietnam' s comparable advantage and realizing industrialization, Vietnam' s Congress carried out the new investment policy for foreign investor since 1988, thus inflow FDI surging very rapidly with the improvement of investment environment, optimizing FDI policy, the strengthen management of foreign company, more broaden investment field for foreign investor. As part of the society investment, inflow FDI became the necessary factor for efficient circulation and utilizing of national capital and became the main factor to develop the economy.By ways of analyzing the existed problems of utilizing inflow FDI in Vietnam through systematic and compile data, the thesis gives some rational advices and methods for making good use of inflow FDI later on in Vietnam.The thesis can be divided into three parts. The first part describes the purposes and significances of the thesis. The second part detailed analyzes the characters of the inflow FDI history, the inflow FDI source country' s structure, the inflow destination industries and areas of FDI, the comparable advantages of inflow FDI in Vietnam. The third part makes a demonstration of the effects on inflow FDI promoting Vietnamese economy with the theory of the effects of inflow FDI on the economy. The fourth part gives the main problems and negative effects of inflow FDI on Vietnamese economy in order to preventing such situation taken place later on. The fifth part gives some rational advices and means to such problems. The sixth parts summarizes the thesis, concluded that inflow FDI should have a positive effect on Vietnamese economy, improved the economy, optimized the inner industry structure and come to a harmonious development of society, economy, and environment.
