Study On Status Quo Analysis And Measures Of Farmers' Income Growth In Tai'an

The major task to build a well-off society in an all-round way is to develop rural economy and to increase farmers' income. Farmers' income growth is not only a realistic and economic problem, but also a strategic and political problem.And it concerns directly the improvement of farms' life, the stability of rural society and the realization of a well-off society in China. The paper is developed acting on the improvement of farmers' income growth in the new stage.Through a great deal of investigation and analysis, the changes and characters of farmers' income in Tai'an from reform and opening-up stage were divided into four stages including quick growth, slow growth, rebounding growth and slow growth. The major problems that influenced farmers' income growth were given such as: the unstability of the groundwork for farmers' income growth, the imbalance of farmers' income, wider gap between the rich and the poor, the low-level of farmers' income structure, the weak of rural market of consumption. The major restricted factors were also given such as : the irrationality of agricultural structure, the decrease of farmland, the increase of labour cost, the slowness of rural industry, the lowness of farmers' culturalquality, the surplus rural labour, the handicaps of the current system and the lack of the govermental investment. The measures included re-adjusting and optimizing the agricultral structure, improving agricultural industry, conservating and subliming foodstuff integrate produce faculty, transforming surplus rural labour, rural system restructuring, improving agricultural science-technology and farmers' cultural quality.Through long-term efforts and practice, restructuring of agricultural industry in Tai'an has been developed on preliminary. The area of vegetable has been more than 260 acres which is in the front three ranks in Shandong Province.The development of vegetable industrialization has obvious effect on farmers' income growth. Scientific optimizing of industrial strucutre and guiding are essential to strengthen stability of the farmers' income growth and to enlarge the range of growth during making good advantage of that special industry. Based on my major that is horticulture, the development of vegetable industrialization is detailed in the paper. Firstly the status quo vegetable industrialization in Tai'an was analyzed. Further more, the advantages and restricted factors were elaborated. Four proposals of promoting farmers' income growth are developed which are re-adjusting and optimizing structure, building developed vegetable processing system, developing organic vegetable and developing winter-warming vegetable pergolas.
