The problem of land supply and demand has been an important social and economic issue, which is shared by governments in china. In order to dispose of the problem, every government emphasizes the importance of land supply and demand .The problem of land supply and demand is subject to the history background, the development demand of economic and society. As it is known, there are different land supply and demand models due to different development terms, goal and request. Because the economic in China has been developing with high speed, and China tries to achieve society & economic transition with the economic globalization and entrance into WTO, it is an important project how to dispose of the problem of land supply demand so as to take the land use plan into effect and satisfy the require of economic development. Take Guangzhou as example, which locates at Guangdong Province that is a developed zone in China, this paper analysis the problem of land supply and demand in readjustment of land use plan. The main points of this paper go as follows.The paper summarizes the development of land supply and demand. It also appraises the land supply and demand in different phases and their theories. Furthermore, the paper makes a perspective on the trend of land supply and demand. Theory reunion, content generalization, and means information will appear in the future.The change mechanism of land use is different during different development course. And the high-speed economic development will arouse changes of land use. The paper makes empirical research on the mechanism of land use change from economic increase, development of society, migration of population, protection of environment, and condition of district. With this research, the paper quarries the influence of land use changes during the high-speed economic development period on the problem of land supply and demand.It is difficult to predict and describe these multiplicity factors, which can influence land supply and demand during the high-speed economic development. On the basis of the characteristic of land use in Guangzhou, it can be look at five aspects,e.g. economic increase, development of society, migration of population, protection of environment, and condition of district. This paper presents the Possible—Satisfiability model of urban land scale. The target system and forecast methods are put forward. The reasonable scale of urban land in the future and its condition and degree of reasonability can be obtained using the model.In order to attain sustainable land use, it is necessary to conceive of the land arrangement and its layout macroscopically and to arrange land use strategically because of the high-speed economic development and society change. The paper gives an idea to balance stratagem of land supply and demand research, which is used in the land use plan of Guangzhou city. The paper analyzes the advantage, disadvantage and circumscriptive factors of land use in Guangzhou city, and this paper broaches balance stratagem land supply and demand on agriculture, construction and environment in Guangzhou city.
