Study On Human Capital Stock In China

China's sustainable economic development and improvement of corporate performance depend importantly on the increase in the quantity of human capital. The paper is dedicated to research of human capital in china, aims at predicting the human capital stock of china in the 2005, through measuring the human capital and the relation between human capital and the development of economic, based on neural network. Comparison the predicted results to other nations, and found the existing problem, make corresponding decision and measurement. The main results of the paper are as follow: 1.Based on describing the basic theory and developing of human capital, measure the PQLI exponent of human capital stock in the passed 20 years in china, and Comparison to other nations. By this, the human capital stock of china in the passed 20 years is present. Then, the human capital predict model is construct, with the goal variable of human capital, and the influence factors of graduates of college, graduates of junior high school, Gross National Product, and death rate. 2.Based on neural network, the human capital stock predict model is present. With the history data of passed 20 years, train the praised neural network. The result shows that the ANN based model can converge the goal sharply, satisfies the nonlinear system well, which have more advantages than tradition predict model. With the trained neural network, according to the 10th Five Years plan and 2010 perspective plan, the human capital stock of the year 2005 is predicted with following results: The exponent of China's human capital stock is improved sharply, but comparison to developed nations it is no advantage. 3.In order to solve the existing problems, many measurements for improving the exponent of our human capital are suggested, including (1) Construct the development strategy center with the exploit of human capital and (2) Establish reasonable human capital investment policies, contains ①increase investment, ②adjust the education construct,(3)enhance market and environment construction,(4)improve social security system, and(5)improve system, rule of law to enhance human capital stock.
