Research On The Development Of The Characteristic Industries Such As Dairy Meat And Cashmere Etc In Inner Mongolia

The research on regional characteristic industries is an important issue in the field of regional economy. It is of great significance both theoretically and practically. As far as Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is concerned, the characteristic industries such as dairy,meat and cashmere etc, with their comparative advantage , not only increase dramatically ,but also spur on the related industries and enhance the continuous increase of economy in Inner Mongolia. However, there are still many problems and defects. Hence ,How to develop the characteristic industries such as dairy,meat and cashmere etc in Inner Mongolia becomes the focus. This paper, through combining methods of positive analysis and normative analysis, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, as well as statistical and comparative analysis, gives a detailed study on the characteristic industries such as dairy,meat and cashmere etc. According to the current situation and conditions of their development, it provides some strategies for their further development. This paper consists of four parts apart from the introduction and the conclusion. Part One: The definition,the features and the theoretical foundation of regional characteristic industries .Firstly, it gives the concept and the features of characteristic industries. Secondly, it analyses the theoretical foundation of formation and development of characteristic industries. Thirdly, it confirms the dairy,meat and cashmere industries as characteristic industries in Inner Mongolia. Part Two: It discusses the conditions of developing the characteristic industries in this region. Firstly, it probes into the essentiality of developing the characteristic industries in this region in the light of the whole national economic situation. Secondly, it analyses the comparative advantages such as the developmental eligibility of the characteristic industries regarding the natural resources, cultural background, animal husbandry as well as the economic conditions. Thirdly, it analyses the potentialities of the characteristic industries in terms of market superiorities. Part Three: Current situation and latent problems of the characteristic industries such as dairy,meat and cashmere etc in Inner Mongolia. There are comparative advantages as well as competitive advantages in some specific industries according to the current situation. But many problems still exist. For example, it is crucial to improve the development conditions of the characteristic industries .There are other problems such as the weakness of organizational competitiveness, the weak spatial agglomeration and dispersion capacity, the weak awareness of circular economy, the competitive chaos and lack of risk-proof mechanism etc. Finally, it illustrates with chart the comparative and competitive advantages of characteristic industries dominated by dairy industry. Part Four: The strategies to promote the competitiveness of the characteristic industries such as dairy,meat and cashmere etc in Inner Mongolia. It provides some strategies for their further development in terms of optimizing the industrial environment, and improving their organizational competitiveness, enhancing spatial agglomeration and dispersion capacity , advocating circular economy and strengthening institutional innovation of characteristic industries.
